Kamat has said that now you have to keep learning throughout life. This means that if you have just received an engineering degree and you are thinking that due to this degree, your value will always remain in the job market, it is not so. You have to keep updating your skills according to the demand of the market. Artificial intelligence was rarely discussed till 10-12 years ago. Today most of the discussions include AI. Even IT companies are using AI. AI is doing many such things, which humans used to do earlier. This has affected new hiring in IT companies.

The WEF report also emphasizes on learning new skills continuously. According to this report, 75 per cent of the employees expressed confidence in their ability to increase the skill of their current employees. 38 percent of the employees expressed concern about the capacity of new employees. This report states that 41 percent of every 100 people working in the world will not have to increase their skills. 29 per cent will have to undergo training to stay in their current job. 19 percent of people will have to learn new skills and come in a new role. 11 percent of people will be completely out of training.
