Bharti Airtel Shares: Shareholders of Bharti Airtel may get more than double the dividend in the current financial year as compared to last year. Brokerage firm HSBC has made this estimate in one of its reports. HSBC expects Bharti Airtel’s dividend to increase by 114% year-on-year to Rs 17 per share in FY 2025. This increase could be due to improvement in free cash flow outlook and increasing cash flow needs of the promoter entity.
Bharti Airtel had recorded free cash flow of over Rs 39,000 crore during FY2024. HSBC estimates that Bharti Airtel’s dividend per share (DPS) may increase four times in the next three years to Rs 34 by FY 2027. This is 28% to 45% higher than consensus estimates for fiscal years 2025-2027.
The brokerage also said that the key factors supporting Bharti Airtel’s growth remain stable. These include growth in mobile average revenue per user (ARPU), expansion in the number of home broadband subscribers and increase in free cash flow.
HSBC has given “Buy” rating on Bharti Airtel shares and has kept its target price at Rs 1,940. This target price shows the possibility of an increase of about 22% in the stock from Tuesday’s closing price.
Out of 35 analysts covering Bharti Airtel’s stock, 29 have given it a “Buy” rating. Whereas 4 analysts have advised to hold it, while 2 have advised to sell it.
Around 12.45 am, shares of Bharti Airtel were trading 0.50 per cent lower at Rs 1,582.90 on the BSE. This stock has declined by 1.23 percent in the last one month. However, in the last 12 months it has given returns of 51 percent to its investors.
