The incident is north of Khede, the border village under Ferozepur. The missing farmer is about 20 years old and has been identified as Amritpal Singh. The incident took place on 21 June. According to the information received, on June 21, he went across the border to work in the fields, but did not return.

Amritpal went to work in his fields near the border village Rana Panjaghadi Chowki. The land of many farmers is also located in this area. Farmers are allowed to do farming by showing more identity cards by BSF.

The evening of 21 did not return

Family members said that Amritpal had gone to the fields in the morning, but did not return till evening. The family got information when a call was received from the BSF post that Amritpal Singh’s entry was recorded in the register, but he did not sign an exit. That is, he could not return.

For the first time there has been a conversation between BSF and Pak Rangers on the matter. But at present, Pakistan Rangers have refused to enter any Indian citizen in their area.
