Bank Holiday July 2025: Banks will have holidays in many states of the country in July 2025. Due to these holidays, banks are going to be closed for 11 days due to local and religious festivals in different states of the country. The 11 -day holiday of July includes a weekly holiday. The Veekal Holiday includes all Sundays, second and fourth Saturdays. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared these holidays under the Negotiable Instruments Act. However, these holidays will not be the same in the whole country. According to local festivals in every state, banks will be closed on different dates.

Digital banking service will be operational
During these holidays, the branches of the bank will remain closed, but customers can do transactions through digital means like ATM, Internet banking, mobile apps. However, some services such as NEFT, RTGS or check clearance may proceed on next working day.
What to do?
If you have to do any important work in the bank – depositing cash, making demand drafts or clearing checks – then keep your important work in advance keeping these holidays in mind. In July, this list of bank holidays will be useful for the general public. If you live in a state or have to go to a branch, then plan to see the list. So that there is no problem later.
