Owaisi is part of the Modi government’s anti-terrorism all-party foreign delegation. He is currently on a tour of Algeria.
All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Saturday accused Pakistan of promoting terrorism. Giving the example of notorious terrorist Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi, he told how he became the father of a child even after being imprisoned in Pakistan’s jail.
Owaisi is part of the Modi government’s anti-terrorism all-party foreign delegation. He is currently on a tour of Algeria. He said-
A terrorist became a father while imprisoned in Pakistan. No country in the world will allow the terrorist who is facing allegations of terrorism to come out of jail. But he became the father of a son while sitting in jail.
Owaisi said that when Pakistan came on the gray list of Financial Action Task Force (FATF), the case against it proceeded. He appealed to the global community and FATF to re -put Pakistan on the gray list to curb its activities.
Terrorist Zakiur Rahman Lakhvi was involved in the 26/11 attack in Mumbai.
Owaisi- Killing innocent people is also against the education of Islam
Owaisi accused Pakistan of sheltering terrorists and said that killing innocent people is also against the education of Islam. He said, Pakistan has become the center of ‘Takfirism (enemy of Islam)’.
Owaisi said that there is no difference between the ideology of the terrorist organizations and the ideology of Daish and Al-Qaeda. They believe that they have religious validity, which is completely wrong. Islam does not allow anyone to kill, but has become their ideology.
Owaisi said- Terrorism is the issue of the whole world
Owaisi pointed to the growing ties between India and Algeria, saying, “We (India and Algeria) have signed a defense agreement in November 2024, and I am sure it will increase understanding and our relationship will be strong. Hopefully our Prime Minister will soon come to Almaria and Algeria’s President will come to India. It will be a very good step towards the right direction.”
Owaisi said this about the terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, killing 26 people. He also said that under the ‘Operation Sindoor’ on the night of 7 May, India successfully attacked Lashkar and Jaish terrorist launch-pads.
Taking a dig at Pakistan to give shelter to the terrorists, Owaisi said, “Whoever takes up arms is a terrorist. No terrorist can be given any place.”
In the end, he appealed to the international community to crack down on Pakistan and said that it is a threat to not only India, but for the whole of South Asia. He warned, “This is not just the issue of South Asia.
We are the fourth largest economy in the world. Think what will happen if this catastrophe spreads in other parts? It is necessary for world peace to control Pakistan. ”
