Bangladesh cookie is becoming a shelter of militants. The activities of Kuki Chin National Front (KNF), banned terrorist organization for the last few months, have seen a boom here. Meanwhile, the big conspiracy of KNF has been busted in Chittagong.
Security agencies raided a factory in Chittagong and seized around 30,000 military uniforms, which have been priced at 200 million. The shocking thing is that 10 thousand uniforms have already reached the militants. According to sources, these uniforms were designed for a guerrilla war.
According to preliminary investigation, under this conspiracy, Manipur and Mizoram of India, Chin and Rakhine states of Myanmar, and Chittagong Hill tracts in Bangladesh were prepared to shake together.
Intelligence reports have also revealed that KNF has three thousand trained militants, out of which about one thousand have recently been given special training of guerrilla warfare.
India is also cautious about this threat, as KNF’s role in the rocket attacks in Manipur in 2024 is under investigation. In addition, the organization has carried out several bank robbery in Bangladesh.
KNF join hands with Ansar organization related to Al Qaeda in Bangladesh
According to intelligence agencies, KNF has tied up with Al Qaeda -backed terrorist organization Ansar al Islam in Bangladesh.
According to sources, several KNF militants have been given training for guerrilla warfare and suicide attacks in Ansar terror camps. In turn, KNF offered Ansar safe haven and logistics support to hide Ansar in hilly areas.
This alliance can cause concern for Bangladesh, India and Myanmar. Analysts believe that KNF is becoming a part of fiery Islamic terrorist network, aims to spread instability.
KNF is taking advantage of bitterness in Bangladesh-India-Myanmar relations
In August 2024, Sheikh Hasina’s power in Bangladesh took place and a military coup in Myanmar in February 2021. Since these incidents, there has been bitterness in Bangladesh-India-Myanmar.
KNF is taking advantage of this. In the last few years, KNF is expanding and executing terrorist activities.
KNF is getting stronger by foreign funding and diplomatic conflicts
There are reports of KNF getting indirect support from both China and America. The US is using KNF to damage China’s ambitious project at Kyokpu Port in Myanmar. At the same time, China is accused of supporting KNF for interest in Myanmar.
