Assembly elections held in 30 states-UTs from 2020 to 2024

Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar has announced the date of Delhi Assembly elections in a press conference today. During this, while responding to the allegations made by different political parties, he said that the Indian voter is aware. Elections have been held in 30 states since 2020. In this, different single parties have proved to be the largest party in 15 states and their government has been formed. These figures show how fair the Indian electoral process is.
When were the elections held in which state, who won?
Its data was also shared by the Election Commission. According to this data, assembly elections were organized in Bihar in the year 2020, in which Rashtriya Janata Dal i.e. RJD government was formed. Apart from this, elections were held in 5 states and union territories in the year 2021, where Trinamool Congress in West Bengal, DMK in Tamil Nadu, AINRC in Puducherry, CPIM in Kerala, BJP in Assam won. Elections were held in 7 states in the year 2022, where Congress won in Himachal Pradesh and Aam Aadmi Party won in Punjab. Whereas BJP won in UP, Uttarakhand, Manipur, Gujarat and Goa. Apart from this, elections were held in 9 states in the year 2023, where NDPP won in Nagaland, BJP in Tripura, NPP in Meghalaya, Congress in Karnataka, BJP in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan, ZPM in Mizoram and Congress in Telangana.

After this, assembly elections were organized in 8 states and union territories in the year 2024, in which TDP in Andhra Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, BJP in Odisha, SKM in Sikkim, JKNC in Jammu and Kashmir, BJP in Haryana, Maharashtra and JMM in Jharkhand. Government has been formed. During this, quoting the statement of the Supreme Court, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar said that the Supreme Court has said that EVMs cannot be hacked. There is no question of introducing any virus or bug into it. Apart from this, EVM cannot be hacked due to Trojan horse or virus. EVM device is completely safe from counting point of view.
