The BCCI has already started planning for the final. He has decided to invite the three heads of the Indian Army for the final of IPL 2025. The hero of Operation Sindoor will be present in the closing ceremony to be held on the final day.

In fact, in response to the Pahalgam terror attack, India responded to Pakistan through Operation Sindoor. Since then, military tension between India and Pakistan was at a very peak for a few days. For this reason, the IPL had to be postponed for a few days on 9 May. After this, the league was again started from 17 May. The first final match was to be played on 25 May but its schedule was later changed.

BCCI has taken special initiative for final match

BCCI Secretary Devjit Saikia said that he has invited heads of the three armies (Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, Navy Chief Edmiral Dinesh K, Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal Amar Preet Singh), top officers and soldiers for the IPL final in Ahmedabad. Its purpose is to celebrate the success of Operation Sindoor.

For his honor, we have decided to dedicate Closing Serimani to the armed forces and respect the heroes of our country. Playoff matches will start from May 29

The last league match will be played on 27 May in IPL 2025. After this match, the playoffs’ schedule will be revealed in which it will be known which team will play the qualifier and between which the eliminator will be played. After that the title will fight on June 3. The playoffs will start from May 29. Qualifier 1 and Eliminator will be played at Mullanpur Stadium in Punjab. This will then be played at qualifier-2 and final Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
