The Kuwait government has canceled citizenship of more than 37,000 people, including 26,000 women.
This step is being described as part of the reformist agenda of Amir Sheikh Meshal al-Ahmed al-Sab, which aims to give citizenship only to those who have blood relations with Kuwait.
Women receiving citizenship through marriage have been specially targeted. Since 1987, thousands of such women were given citizenship, which is now being canceled.

Trump’s decision of 50% tariff on European Union postponed July 9
US President Donald Trump has postponed the 50% tariff decision on the European Union (EU). Now for this, the date of July 9 has been fixed instead of 1 June.
He said on Sunday that he would give more time to EU for talks. Trump took the decision after a conversation with EU President Von Der Leyen. He posted on social media and told that there was a good conversation.
