This news was revealed by Punjab Assistant Coach Sunil Joshi. He said that Chahal did not play in the match against Delhi Capitals due to injury. Chahal’s injury can be a big shock for the team.
Punjab Kings lost against Delhi Capitals
On May 24, the match against DC lost by six wickets against Punjab. In this match, Punjab was apparently lacked. In the press conference after the match, coach Joshi revealed that 34 -year -old Chahal was rested due to a minor injury. However, the assistant coach did not explain anything in detail about the injury.
In this match instead of Chahal, Praveen Dubey was given a chance in playing XI. He took over spin bowling with Harpreet Brar. Dubey got a chance to bowl two overs in this match. He conceded 20 runs in those two overs but did not get any wicket there. Talking about Brar, he spent two wickets by spending 41 runs in his four over.

Talking about Yuzvendra Chahal’s performance in this season, he has played a total of 13 matches so far and his name has been recorded 14 wickets so far. He has proved to be very expensive this season. He has so far spent runs at an economy rate of 9.56. Chahal’s name is also recorded a hat -trick this season that he took against Chennai Super Kings. Punjab Kings will play their last league match with Mumbai Indians on 26 May. The eyes of both teams will be on winning this match.
