UPS: The pension amount is already decided. This is 50% of the last 12 months average basic salary.
Employees are advised to take the right decision for themselves by comparing the benefits of UPS and NPS. For this, the Pension Fund Regulatory and Development Authority (PFRDA) has also launched a UPS calculator, which helps employees to calculate the benefits of pension fixed under both schemes. If you want to take advantage of UPS, do not forget to apply before 30 June 2025.
