A big update has come about the Venue of the final match of IPL 2025. According to reports, the final match will now be played in Ahmedabad. On May 09, IPL 2025 was stopped for a week in view of the increasing military tension between India and Pakistan. After this, the BCCI released a new schedule on 13 May. In that schedule, all the matches were changed in the dates. According to the schedule released earlier, the IPL final was to be played on 25 May but now it will be played in Ahmedabad on 3 June.
There can be compared to playoffs on this ground
However, when the BCCI released the schedule again, nothing was given update about the playoff venue. The first playoffs were to be in Hyderabad and Kolkata. But now it has been changed. According to official information revealed by IPL, the final of IPL 2025 will be played in Ahmedabad. At the same time, compared to the playoffs, you can be played at Mullanpur Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The decision was taken during a meeting between BCCI officials on 20 May.
According to the report, the first two matches of the playoffs i.e. qualifier-1 and eliminator match will be played in Mullanpur. Both of these matches will be held on 29 and 30 May. The second qualifier will be played in Ahmedabad. Actually, the rainy season has started slowly in the country, in view of that, the BCCI has chosen these grounds for playoff matches.
These three teams have reached the playoffs
In the playoffs of IPL 2025, three teams have confirmed their place. These three teams are Gujarat Titans, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Punjab Kings. The fight between Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals continues for the last one place. Now it will have to be seen which of these two teams manage to reach the last four. 9 league matches are to be played in the ongoing season of IPL. The last league match will take place on May 27 and after that the playoffs will begin.
