Mahesh Bhatt has produced many great films. He has given Hindi cinema like ‘Aashiqui’ and ‘Sadak’, which is still liked among the audience. However, he also faced a lot of struggle in the early days of his career. Mahesh Bhatt was 26 years old when he started his career as a director with ‘Manzilne Aur Hai’. But, he joined the film world long ago. It is a matter of 1996, when two films of Rajesh Khanna knocked in theaters. The first was Shakti Samanta’s ‘Aradhana’ and the second Raj Khosla’s ‘Do Rasta’. On December 5, 1969, when the film was released at the Royal Opera House in Bombay, the film’s editor Vaman Bhonsle reached the theater with Mahesh Bhatt.

Vaman Bhonsle had faced all this earlier, but Mahesh Bhatt was only 19-20 years old and was emotionally associated with the film.
Mahesh Bhatt gets a bonus of Rs 300
However, when ‘Do Rasta’ was released, the film remained in the same opera house for more than 50 weeks. After the success of the film, Raj Khosla also announced a bonus for some staff members and Mahesh Bhatt also received a bonus of Rs 300. This bonus was equivalent to his salary for Mahesh Bhatt in those days.
