Gujarat Titans vs Delhi Capitals
The Gujarat Titans won a big win on 18 May in the 60th match of the Indian Premier League 2025. In this match played at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi, Gujarat defeated Delhi Capitals by 10 wickets and finished first in the points table and cut the playoff ticket. Gujarat won the toss and decided to bowl first. Delhi Capitals scored a strong score of 199 runs by losing 3 wickets in the prescribed 20 overs. However, this score could not stand in front of Gujarat’s batting.
The Gujarat Titans’ opening pair took an aggressive stance from the beginning to chase the target. Sai Sudarshan batted brilliantly and scored an unbeaten 108 runs off 61 balls. Captain Shubman Gill also scored 93 runs with him. Together, both of them hit 205 runs in just 19 overs and gave the team a one -sided victory. In this way, the Gujarat Titans became the first team to chase 200 plus target without losing a single wicket in the history of IPL.
Big act of Gujarat Titans
Let me tell you, this is the biggest target achieved successfully by any team without losing wickets in IPL. Earlier in 2017, Kolkata Knight Riders achieved 184 runs against Gujarat Lions in 2017. You will be surprised to know that Gujarat has become a second team to achieve the target of more than 200 without losing wickets. Earlier, only Pakistan achieved a target of 200 runs in T20I against England in Karachi in 2022.

In IPL 2025, 2 matches were played between Gujarat Titans and Delhi Capitals and in both the matches, Shubman Gill’s team won. Interestingly, Gujarat achieved a target of more than 200 runs in both matches. This is the first time in a season of IPL when a team has chased more than 200 runs in both matches against a team. This has been seen for the second time in T20 cricket. Earlier, only one team Bulgaria had done a big act of achieving a target of more than 200 runs in the T20 tournament (or series) against Serbia in 2022.
