Ayush Mahatre told the Chennai Super Kings team in an interview about his journey to play for the CSK team in IPL 2025 that Surya Bhai told me that I can get a call from the CSK team anytime. After this I had mentally prepared myself. After this, I got a call from Srikanth Sir that I have to come for 2 days in which he wants to see me playing. After this I was very excited to be a part of the team in which I was fully prepared to give trial for the CSK team. Ayush further said in praise of Surya that I had spent a lot of time with him during the Vijay Hazare Trophy, in which he supported me and also increased my confidence, in which he said that if I do not play well in 2 or three innings, then I would definitely maintain my confidence so that I do not see any kind of pressure on my face on the field.
Ayush scored 163 runs in 5 matches so far
Talking about Ayush Mahatre’s performance in IPL 2025, he has got a chance to play in 5 matches, in which he has scored a total of 163 runs at an average of 32.6. The strike rate of Ayush is 181.12. Ayush’s best score is 94 runs which came in the match against the Royal Challengers Bangalore team, in which the CSK team suffered a 2 -run defeat.
