The fourth season of the International League T20 will be played not in January-February 2026, but in December 2025 and January 2026. So that it can be finished before the T20 World Cup 2026. The T20 World Cup is expected to run from February to March. Alt20 is always played at the beginning of the year.
The ILT20 league will be played by 4 January 2026
The ILT20 will start from December 2 and played till January 4, 2026. It has been announced by organizers. A total of 6 teams will participate in the ILT20, including Abu Dhabi Knight Riders, Desert Wipers, Dubai Capitals, Gals Giants, MI Emirates and Sharjah Warriors. Last season, Dubai Capitals won the title by defeating Desert Wipers by four wickets. Earlier, Mi Emirates and Gulf Giants have also won the title of ILT20 once.

Khalid Al Jaruni, vice -president of the Emirates Cricket Board and chairman of ILT20, said that we are happy to say that the fourth season of DP World International League T20 will begin from Eid al Etihad, the National Day of UAE. UAE is the home of people around the world, including millions of cricket fans. For us it is really an honor. The last season was attended by many star players including Sam Curren, Sai Hope, Fazalhak Farooqui, Andre Russell, Sunil Narayan, David Warner and Rashid Khan.
ILT20 Chief Executive David White said in a statement that we feel that December-January window will provide teams the best opportunity to reach the players’ big pools. It is not yet clear whether it is a one -time window or will later be a regular window for the tournament.
