1. Go to UIDAI website

2. Select Service Center and City

Now you have to choose your city and nearest Aadhaar Seva Kendra. Then choose the option of “New Aadhaar”.

3. Fill the Aadhaar form

You will be sought basic information like name, date of birth, address, mobile number. An OTP will come on mobile, which will lead your information.

4. Give information about the necessary documents

You have to fill the information about identity, address and date of birth. These documents will have to take you on the day of appointment in physical form.

5. Select date and time

Now you can book date and time slots as per your convenience. On this day you will have to go to Aadhaar center and give biometric details.

What will happen to the center?

You have to undergo biometric process. There will be some special processes in this:

  • Your photo will be taken.
  • Fingerprints will be taken.
  • There will be scanning of the eyes (iris).
  • Documents will be verified.

After this you will be given an enrollment slip. It has a number, so that you can check the status online.

When will you get Aadhaar card?

The Aadhaar card is usually ready within 15 to 30 days. If you want, you can download it from UIDAI’s website in PDF or you can get physical copy by post.
