Maiya Samman Yojana: Today Rs 5,000 will come into the women’s bank account. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren will transfer ₹5,000 to the accounts of more than 56 lakh women beneficiaries under the ‘Maiya Samman Yojana’ on Monday, January 6. This money covers two installments of ₹2,500 each for the months of December and January.

This program will be organized in Namkum, Ranchi. Where more than 3 lakh beneficiaries are expected to participate. The preparations for the program have been reviewed by Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri.

Under this scheme, which started in August 2023, earlier women aged 18 to 50 years were given monthly assistance of Rs 1,000. But from December 2023, the state government will increase this assistance to Rs 2,500 monthly. Some beneficiaries have already received the December installment, while the rest are to be given the money for both the months of December and January on Monday.

Click on status check.
Enter beneficiary number, mobile number or Aadhaar number.
Verify with OTP sent to registered mobile number. The payment status will be visible on the screen.
This scheme, started with the aim of economically empowering women, is proving to be an important initiative in Jharkhand.
