In fact, the Indian team won the T20 World Cup title last year under Rohit’s captaincy. All Indian players who won the T20 World Cup 2024 were awarded the Diamond Ring by the BCCI.
The board gifted a diamond ring to all the players during the Naman Awards held in February 2025. But Siraj was not present for that award function for some reason. In such a situation, Rohit took that gift in the absence of Siraj. Now Siraj has now been handed over the ring by Indian captain Rohit.
