‘When there can be a Waqf Board then why can’t there be a Sanatan Board?’, roared storyteller Devkinandan Thakur in Bengaluru.

Bengaluru: Narrator Devkinandan Thakur has given a big statement in the inauguration ceremony of the temple convention held in Bengaluru. He said that when there can be a Waqf Board then why can’t there be a Sanatan Board? Narrator Devkinandan Thakur once again raised his voice for freeing the temples from the control of the governments and establishing the Sanatan Board.

What else did Devaki say?

Emphasizing the need to free the temple from government control, Devkinandan Thakur said that Rs 500 crore is given to the state government every year from Tirupati Balaji Temple but this amount was used for religious conversion and adulteration of Prasad.

Devkinandan Thakur said that if Sanatan Board is not formed, then when the governments change, it will become difficult to conserve the temples, the situation like the situation in Sambhal today may also return. Hindus will have to take up spears along with garlands to protect the temples and in any case, Sanatan Board will have to be formed under the chairmanship of Shankaracharya of the country.

Devaki had called the Parliament of Religions

In November 2025, narrator Devkinandan Thakur had called Sanatan Dharma Sansad. Invitations were also sent to many big leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, JP Nadda, Akhilesh Yadav to participate in this Parliament of Religions. Devkinandan Thakur was demanding formation of Sanatan Board. In this Parliament of Religions, there is a demand for formation of Sanatan Board on the lines of Waqf Board. Love Jihad-cow slaughter and Krishna Janmabhoomi were also the agenda of this Dharma Sansad.

On this occasion, Devkinandan Thakur had said, ‘I have endured a lot, I will not endure it anymore. Hindus will keep their rights, now we will not be divided, now we will not be divided. He said, ‘Whoever plans to bite, my dear I will see.’
