Irrfan Khan is getting an opportunity to see in cinema houses, the film is being released with Amitabh-Deepika

Irrfan Khan’s film ‘Piku’ is once again releasing in theaters. The film will knock in theaters on 9 May. Announcing the release again, Deepika Padukone paid homage to the late actor Irrfan Khan, which touched the fans’ hearts. Deepika shared a video on her Instagram handle, in which megastar Amitabh Bachchan shared her experience about the film. The clip also included emotional and fun scenes of the film. The film is scheduled to release on 9 May 2025.

Apart from this, Deepika also paid her a tribute to the late actor Irrfan in the post. The actor played Rana Chaudhary in the film. Many fans of Khan’s on-screen work are again expecting many feelings in release. The film was directed by Shoojit Sarkar. Sharing his love towards the film, he wrote, ‘A film which will always be in my heart – Piku is returning to theaters on May 9, 2025 to celebrate its 10th anniversary! Irfan, we miss you! And we think of you every time. ‘ Comedy-Drama ‘Piku’ is considered one of the best Bollywood films of this style. Critics have appreciated the unique story of the film and the magnificent performance of its lead actors.

Amitabh Bachchan did a fun role

Deepika played the lead character in the film. She was a very realistic character who plays her father Amitabh Bachchan’s childish behavior on her forehead.

Irfan played the role of Rana Chaudhary, the owner of a practical taxi company, who finds himself entangled in family troubles of the main character. Khan’s spontaneous attraction and subtle humor makes the life-story of the film complement, making his performance excellent. Shoojit Sarkar’s ‘Piku’ was released in 2015. The film received positive reviews from both critics and audiences. Deepika won her second Filmfare Award for Best Actress category for her role in the film.
