Kamal Sadana made his Bollywood debut in 1992 with ‘Bekhudi’. It was Kajol’s debut film along with Kamal. But, before his career climbing a horrific accident, not only his career, he destroyed his whole life. In one stroke, everything of Kamal Saadana was looted. The incident occurred on his 20th birthday, in which his father Brij Sadana roasted his mother and sister with bullets and killed him. Kamal Sadana also hit a bullet, but he survived.
Father destroyed family on actor’s birthday
Kamal Sadana spoke openly about the entire incident in a conversation with Siddharth Kanan in 2024 and told how his father destroyed his entire family. During this time, he mentioned the entire incident of that day and also told about his pain. Lotus Sadana somehow survived the bullets fired by the father. But this incident gave him such a trauma, which took them years to get out.
Kamal Sadana’s neck was shot
Talking about this, Kamal had said- ‘I have always seen it like this … I was also shot. A bullet was hit on my neck. The bullet had passed from one side of the neck to the other side and I escaped from it. There is no logical reason for my survival. It was such that, the bullet dodged every nerve and went to the other side. This may be the only reason that I escaped from it. After this, I somehow got out of it and thought of living well. ‘
Drunken father fired bullets on birthday
Kamal told that when his father Brij was drunk on the family of bullets. Kamal said- ‘It was my birthday that day and it was a very terrible incident. This does not mean whether my family was bad or my childhood was bad. My father was a bad person, no it is not. When my father shot me with sister and mother, I took both of them to the hospital. My blood was also coming out, but I did not know at all that I was shot. If the beds in the hospital were not empty, then my friend took me to another hospital. I told the doctors that keeping my mother and sister alive and my father was also watching.
Birthday not celebrated for years
‘I was also shot, so I also had surgery. Doctors were fixing the wound. When I was cured, I was taken home and went home and saw that my whole family was on the ground. In front of my eyes. I did not celebrate my birthday for many years. But, then gave the party a few years ago. But even today I do not feel like celebrating my birthday. Because, that incident does not go from my mind. I remember all those things again on birthday.
