Let us tell you that Bengaluru Police had arrested these three accused from Uttar Pradesh and all three are currently lodged in Bengaluru Central Jail. Vacation judge Justice Hemant Chandanagouder on Tuesday directed that the trial court will have to decide on the bail plea on January 4.

While filing this petition, an appeal has been made to the High Court that an early decision on Nikita’s bail application is necessary, because Atul’s family has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, which is scheduled to be heard on January 7. Atul’s mother has filed a Habeas Corpus petition in the Supreme Court regarding Atul and Nikita’s 4-year-old child. Nikita’s lawyer said in the High Court that due to being in judicial custody, Nikita is not able to present her case before the Supreme Court. Based on these aspects, the High Court has directed the lower court to give its verdict on Nikita’s bail petition on January 4.
