Death due to fish getting stuck in the neck.
Alappuzha: A surprising case has come to light in Kayamkulam in the district. It is being told that the young man was catching fish while draining water from the paddy field. During this time his friends were also present there. The young man grabbed a fish during the fishing and pressed it in the mouth and started trying to catch the fish. Meanwhile, the fish he had pressed into the mouth suddenly got stuck in his neck. After this he was also taken to the hospital, but could not save him. The person died in the hospital. At present, the police say that the case has been registered.
Fish trapped around the neck
Actually, the whole matter is being reported from Alappuzha district of Kerala. In Kayamkulam here, a young man died of a fish stuck in his neck. The deceased has been identified as Adarsh alias Unni (25), a resident of Puthuppalli. Police said that the victim had gone fishing with his friends at around 4:30 pm on Sunday evening. He was catching fish with his friends, draining water from the paddy field. Meanwhile, he tried to catch another fish by pressing one fish in the mouth.
Could not save doctors
It is being told that the fish pressed in the mouth suddenly got stuck in his neck. Police said that after the incident, friends also made a lot of effort to get the fish out, but did not succeed. After this, Adarsh was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Ochhira. However, even in the hospital here, doctors could not save him. His body is kept in the mortuary of Kayamkulam Taluk Hospital. Police said that a case has been registered in this case under Section 194 of the Indian Civil Protection Code (BNSS). (Input-PTI)
