Social service Neerja Birla, wife of and industrialist Kumar Mangalam Birla, has said that people need to make balance between work and life. He has talked about dividing eight-eight-eight hours between work, sleep and comfort and it is difficult to follow. Neerja said that in the true sense we need to pay attention to reconcile between work and life. He said in an interview to PTI-video on Wednesday, “There is a need to make balance in work-life. It is impossible to work for exactly eight-eight-eight hours, spending good time and sleeping. Really, this is an idealistic situation. But how we bring harmony in it is important. ”

Work-life balance is necessary

Neerja said this amid the ongoing debate over the work hours. The top official of a company had asked the employees to work for 90 hours per week. While some have supported the low working day. Some have spoken of giving importance to work productivity instead of hours. He said, “What we really need to work on is to harmonize in working life. How we reconcile it is very important, after all it is all about balance. ”

Loneliness in students is a matter of concern

Neerja reacted to the controversy arising out of some of the comments made on the show ‘India’s Got Latent’, saying that educational institutions and families need to ensure that children speak ‘right language’. They believe that the level of tension has usually increased considerably and loneliness is very concerned among students. He said, “A lot needs to be done in this field.”
