What will be the rules of insurance policy
Under this insurance policy, if the level of AQI reaches more than twice 400 in a day, then the payment of the claim will start automatically. The thing to note here is that the workers will get the claim under the circumstances when AQI is above 400 for at least three days of five consecutive days, this situation is defined as ‘strike’. There should be a difference of at least 25 days between each strike in the policy. In the event of the claim, the construction laborers will get up to Rs 6000 to compensate for the loss of salary.
Claim money will be found as soon as the parameter is fixed
This will be a parametric insurance policy, in which the damage is not assessed, but is done based on pre -fixed parameters such as air quality (AQI). In parametric policy, the process of claim satisfaction is very fast as the parameters fixed in it are completed as soon as the insured person gets the claim amount automatically. This insurance policy will benefit thousands of migrant laborers working in Delhi and NCR, whose life of the entire family depends on daily wages. This insurance policy will solve a very big problem of laborers.
