In the special meeting, it has been decided that passengers coming to the station will have to wait outside the railway station long before the departure of the train. For smooth movement of passengers, Delhi Police personnel will check the tickets of passengers at all entry and exit points with RPF and GRP.
It has been decided on behalf of railway officials that special trains going to Prayagraj at New Delhi railway station will leave only from platform number 16. An official said- “Ground levels on platform 16 can be reached through several entry and exit points, so that passengers will not need to use foot overbridge.” This will help manage the crowd effectively. ”
The police have also been banned from walking on the foot overbridge at the New Delhi railway station without any valid reason. According to the information, many people stood on or waiting on foot overbridge without any work. This caused congestion and delay. A specified waiting area is built with a temporary pandal outside the station. Apart from this, pedestrian patrolling has been extended on all platforms, and passengers will not be allowed to sit on the platform without valid reasons.
