He had a big contribution in changing the economy of this country. When he was the PM, I was leading the movement against corruption. I met him at his residence in Delhi. But he met many times and took immediate action. Today Manmohan Singh has passed away, but his memories will always be alive.

On the demise of former PM, Anna Hazare said- “Those who are born have to die, but some people leave behind memories and their legacy. Manmohan Singh gave a new direction to the country’s economy. Social activist Anna Hazare also said that the former PM was against corruption and had taken immediate decisions regarding the Lokpal and Lokayukta Act. Hazare said that Manmohan Singh always focused on how he could do better for the people of the country.
