IND vs Eng: England’s visit to India ended with the conclusion of the third ODI. In the third ODI played at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, Team India batted first and gave England a mountain -like target for victory. In response, the England team collapsed for just 214 runs in 34.2 overs. In this way, India defeated England by 142 runs to register their second biggest win in ODIs. With this big win, Team India won the third ODI match to make England a clean sweep in the 3 -match ODI series. For the third time on the Indian land, England’s ODI series has been cleared. Kohli scored 52 runs while Iyer scored an innings of 78 runs. Indian captain Rohit Sharma could not contribute much with the bat in today’s match but he made a new record in the captaincy with winning the ODI series. Actually, Rohit Sharma has become the first such captain of India, under whose captaincy Team India has made a clean sweep of 4 teams in the ODI series. Rohit Sharma made a clean sweep of West Indies, Sri Lanka and New Zealand in 2023 as captain before cleaning England.
