American market
Wall Street’s benchmark index closed on Monday with an edge on the strength of Nvidia and other AI-related shares. The shares of steel companies jumped after US President Donald Trump announced additional tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. The S&P 500 index rose 0.67 per cent to close at 6,066.44 points. Nasdaq rose 0.98 per cent to 19,714.27 points, while Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 0.38 per cent to 44,470.41 points.
Bond yield
The yield of 10-ears and 2-air bonds in the US remained unchanged on Tuesday. The yield of the 10-age bond was visible at the level of 4.75. The yield of 2-air bonds is visible at 4.37 percent.
Dollar Index (Flat)
The dollar strengthened on Tuesday after US President Donald Trump’s move on tariffs on steel and aluminum imports. He said that he would announce a plan to impose similar tariffs on other countries in the coming days.

Foreign institutional investors (FIIs) sold equity worth Rs 2,463 crore on 10 February, while domestic institutional investors (DIIs) bought equity worth Rs 1,515 crore on the same day.
