Chandigarh: The farmers’ movement in the country is going to start once again. The farmers, who are constantly protesting against their demands, have once again said to travel to Delhi. Delhi Cooch has been announced by the Kisan Mazdoor Morcha and United Kisan Morcha (Non-Political) included in the Kisan Movement 2.0. The next meeting is to be held on 14 February

Let me tell you that earlier last week the government had said that the sixth round of talks with farmers protesting in Punjab and Haryana will be held on 14 February. Minister of State for Agriculture Ramnath Thakur gave this information to the Lok Sabha in a written reply to a question. Explain that in the previous fine conversation, the government proposed a five -year plan to buy some crops on the minimum support price (MSP), but there was no consensus on the widespread demand of the farmers. He said, “The next round of talks with farmers are proposed on February 14, 2025.”

The meeting has been held five times so far

Minister of State for Agriculture Ramnath Thakur said that the demands of the protesting farmers are under consideration before the Supreme Court and the Supreme Court has also formed a committee. He said that the government started the initiative to talk to the protesting farmers on February 8, 2024. Later on 12,15 and 18 February 2024 and 18 January 2025, the next round of talks went on. Ramnath Thakur said that since the farmers started their performance on February 13, 2024, the central government has so far held five rounds of talks with him.
