Eicher motors Q3 results: Eicher Motors today released the results of the third quarter of FY25 on 10 February. The October-December quarter saw the company’s net profit, revenue and double-design growth. The Net profit of the Royal Enfield bike making company increased by 17.5 per cent to Rs 1,170.5 crore on an annual basis, which is slightly lower than the Moneycontrol estimate. The company’s shares have declined by 0.81 per cent today and this stock has closed at Rs 5329.45 on BSE. The company has released the results after the market was closed.
How to result in Eicher Motors?
In the December quarter, the company’s revenue increased by 19 per cent to Rs 4,973.1 crore on an annual basis, while Ebitda increased by 10 per cent to Rs 1,201 crore. Eicher Motors said in a statement that despite the challenges in the commercial vehicle market, the increase in sales of Royal Enfield and the increase in VecV was supported by the increase in VecV.
Siddharth Lal will be the new executive chairman of Eicher Motors
Eicher Motors has announced important changes in its board. Under this, after the retirement of S Sandilya, Siddharth Lal has been appointed as Executive Chairman. The company has appointed Vinod Aggarwal as Vice Chairman (Non-Election) and B Govindarajan as Managing Director. B Govindarajan will also remain the CEO of Royal Enfield.
In addition, Eicher Motors has included Ira Gupta and Arun Vasu as independent directors from 10 February and 13 February. Meanwhile, Independent Director Manvi Sinha will step down on February 12 after completing his term.
Record sales of Royal Enfield Bikes
Royal Enfield recorded the highest quarter sales so far, selling 2,69,039 units, which is 17 per cent higher than a year ago. Meanwhile, VECV recorded the highest third quarter volume, revenue and profit by selling 21,012 vehicles during the quarter.
Siddharth Lal, managing director of Eicher Motors, said that the company saw strong sales in the festive season and launched its electric vehicle brand Flying Flea. “With a strong and divers product portfolio, we are on track to meet the emerging needs of riders worldwide,” he said.
CEO B Govindarajan of Royal Enfield said that the demand remains stable, which has helped with product launch and operational reforms. Sales of Hunter 350 crossed 5 lakh units. Royal Enfield expanded its international business by opening its first full-ridden CKD facility outside India in Thailand as part of its strategy to strengthen its position in the Asia-Pacific region.
