The Ministry of Energy has given people tips to save electricity during the summer season, so that your electricity bill can be reduced even after running heavy load electronics equipment like AC. The central and state governments continue to release these tips to make people aware from time to time.
How to save electricity bill
The Union Energy Ministry gave tips to the people to save electricity and said that the bills come more due to the water pump, AC, coolers and fans in the house. In such a situation, the correct choice of these devices can give you relief. The fans and coolers of the room you are not in should be kept closed, so that less electricity can be used. Also, do not use electricity if not needed. By doing this you can reduce your electricity bill to a great extent.
Keep these things in mind while purchasing AC
The government said that AC and water pumps consume the most electricity during the summer day. While buying AC, it should be kept in mind that you buy AC with inverters. These ACs are slightly expensive than non-inverter AC, but prove to be effective in saving electricity. Such AC is designed in such a way that after the temperature of the room is maintained, its compressor automatically goes off, due to which there is less power consumed even after running AC all night.
Check the energy rating
Apart from this, while purchasing fridge or any other electronics equipment, take care of its energy star ratings. Equipments with 5 star ratings spend the least power. At the same time, equipment with 1 star rating consume electricity the most. The water pump should also be purchased according to its use. If, water consumption in your house is low, then apply low power water pump, so that they can make less electricity. Also, apply a sensor in the water tank so that after filling the water, you can turn off the switch of the water pump.
