Innocent death due to falling in garbage pit.
Kochi: A painful accident occurred at Kochi Airport in Kerala. A child died after falling into a pit filled with garbage in the airport premises here. The case is being told on Friday that when the child was playing in the airport premises. The police has given information about the incident. Giving information, the police said that the child belonged to a couple from Rajasthan. He said that the child has been identified as Ridhan Jaju, a resident of Rajasthan.
The child was playing with brother
According to the police, the child reached Nedumbssery with his parents. He was playing outside with his elder brother, then suddenly he fell into a pit filled with garbage. His parents were sitting in a cafe at the time of the incident. He said that after the incident, the child was rushed to a private hospital in a hurry, but he could not escape.
Statement issued
At the same time, a statement in this regard has also been issued by Cochin International Airport Limited (CIAL). According to the statement released, the accident occurred in the afternoon in the part of the cafe located near the domestic terminal, where visitors are forbidden. The said family reached Kochi with some people. When he came to know that his child was missing, he informed the security staff of CIAL.
CCTV investigation discovered
The release issued by Cochin International Airport Limited further stated that CCTV footage was then investigated. After checking the CCTV footage, it was found that the child had fallen into the pit. After knowing this, the child was immediately taken out. He was then taken to a nearby private hospital. However, doctors in the hospital declared the child dead at 1.42 pm. (Input-PTI)
