Britannia Industries Share Price: FMCG company Britannia Industries Limited is going to increase the price of its products by 4-4.5% by the end of the current financial year 2025. The company made this announcement during its post-earning conference call with investors. After the announcement, Britannia Industries shares fell by nearly 2 percent on 7 February. Shares on BSE opened at Rs 5024.85 with an increase in the morning. After this, it fell by 2.3 percent from the previous closed price and the price went up to Rs 4843.90.
At the end of trading, the stock fell by 1.70 percent to settle at Rs 4874.85. The company’s market cap is more than Rs 1.1 lakh crore. The share price has dropped 5 percent in the last one week and 16 percent in 6 months.
2% increased prices in December quarter
Britannia stated that the total price hike in the October-December 2024 quarter was 2%. By the end of the current financial year, the price is estimated to increase by 4-4.5%. Britannia Industries aims to increase prices by 6-6.5% in FY 2025. The Ebitda margin is expected to be in the current range of 17–18%.
Profit increased by 5 percent in December quarter
Britannia had more than the estimate in the December 2024 quarter. The company earned a net profit of Rs 582 crore on a consolidated basis. This is 4.8% higher than Rs 555.66 crore. The company’s consolidated sales were Rs 4,463 crore during the quarter, which is 6.5% higher than the December 2023 quarter sales of Rs 4191.83 crore.

The company had a 50.55 percent stake in the company till the end of December 2024. The 52 -week high of the stock on BSE is Rs 6,473.10 and a 52 -week low of Rs 4,643.30. The upper circuit is at Rs 5,454.80 and the lower circuit is at Rs 4,463.10.
