Triveni Turbine has received an order of Rs 2.9 billion from the power sector legend NTPC. Triveni Turbine said in an exchange filing on Wednesday that the order is to set up a 160 MW CO2 based Standalone Energy System (ESS) in NTPC Kudgi STPP (Super Thermal Power Plant) in Karnataka. According to PTI news, the project will be implemented on a turnky basis by Triveni Turbine and Technology Partner Energy Dome over a period of 18 months.

According to the news, Triveni Turbine said that an order of Rs 2.9 billion has been received from NTPC. Dhruv M Sahni, Chairman and Managing Director of Triveni Turbines, said that this is a historical order from NTPC, which aims to expedite India’s energy infection efforts by making renewable energy (renewable energy) dispatchable. The purpose of our long -term partnership with Energy Dome is to provide permanent alternative green storage of energy, which also corresponds well with our energy transition solutions.
