History created in test series between Pakistan vs West Indies, big record broken

Pakistan vs West Indies 2nd Test: West Indies defeated Pakistan by 120 runs in the second test match and with this achieved 1-1 level in the series. Pakistan won the first test by 127 runs. In this two-Test series, the spinners from both the teams presented a strong example of play. This is the highest number of wickets taken by spinners in a two-Test series. Earlier in the year 2021, a Test match was played between Sri Lanka and West Indies, in which the spinners of both the teams took 67 wickets. Now this four year old record has been broken.

West Indies have created history by winning by 120 runs in the second test match. The West Indies team has not won a Test match on Pakistani soil since 1990. The spinners performed brilliantly for West Indies. Jomel Warrican, Gudakesh Moti and Kevin Sinclair bowled strongly for the team, against whom Pakistan’s ace batsmen could not stand.

West Indies gave Pakistan a target of 254 runs to win, in response to which the Pakistani team was out for only 133 runs. For West Indies, Jomel Warrican took 5 wickets in the second innings and played an important role in defeating the Pakistani team. Apart from this, he remained an inexplicable enigma throughout the series. Jomel took a total of 19 wickets in the series and also won the Player of the Series and Player of the Match awards.
