Former MLA Kunwar Pranav Singh Champion firing at MLA Umesh Kumar’s office
Roorkee: Former BJP MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion has been arrested for firing at the camp office of Roorkee, MLA from Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar. Police will present Pranab Singh Champion in court today. On Sunday, the champion and his supporters had reached the Khanpur office of a large number of MLAs Umesh Kumar and fiercely fought and vandalized supporters.

MLA Umesh Kumar has also been detained after the case came to light. Umesh Kumar also challenged Pranav’s house and challenged him. Umesh Kumar reached Pranab Champion’s house on Saturday evening and challenged him to come out. After which Pranav reached the MLA’s office with three vehicles on Sunday and the whole incident happened.
In this case, the police have arrested five each from both sides. There is also preparation to cancel arms licenses. After firing at the office of Khanpur MLA, while the police is in action, a large number of police have been deployed in the area in view of the possibility of tension.

There was a fierce rhetoric against each other on social media between the current MLA from Khanpur and former MLA Kunwar Pranab Singh Champion. After this, this case caught up so much that firing and abuses were done. Both leaders forgot that he is a representative of the public. Bullets and abuses were openly exchanged in front of the camera.
Looking at the bullet marks in Umesh Kumar’s office, it can be guessed how the bullets have been fired. Khanpur MLA Umesh Kumar was not in his office when Kunwar Pranav was firing bullets.

After the matter came to light, MLA Umesh Kumar became enraged and ran with a pistol in his hand. During this, he was also seen abusing. He was controlled with great difficulty. After this whole incident, when the Uttarakhand police got gritty, the police came into action and a police force was deployed in the area.
Former MLA Pranab Singh from Nehru Colony area of Dehradun was arrested and a case was also registered against Umesh Kumar. Umesh has also been detained. Police continued to interrogate Umesh Kumar till late night.
The police have sent a report to return the gunner engaged in the protection of both. Preparations are also underway to suspend arms licenses from both sides.
