During an interview recently, the film’s director Imtiaz Ali was asked where he must have seen Aditya and the song today, in response to which he said that he would have been divorced in the current situation. When Shahid Kapoor was questioned about ‘Jab We Met’, the actor said in response- ‘It will be interesting that the song and Aditya are fed up with each other and are preparing to divorce. Aditya must have said, ‘He is his favorite, who can tolerate him?’ After this comment, social media users were seen telling the actor a lot. Many expressed their displeasure over the comment of the actor.

Shahid also made it clear that he does not want to disappoint the fans. He said, ‘If our director feels that these two will divorce each other, then who is going to come in the middle? I am just an actor. ‘ After the comment of the actor, people are reacting differently to his statement. A user commented, ‘If you want to know whether both of them will be divorced in today’s time or not, then make a sequel to the film.’ Another comment wrote – ‘I am very disappointed with them.’ Another user wrote- ‘Do not discredit Happy Di and for us. When will Shahid’s Deva be released?
Talking about Shahid Kapoor’s workfront, he will be seen in the upcoming action thriller Deva in which he is playing the role of a policeman. The film also stars Pooja Hegde, Pavel Gulati, Pravesh Rana and Kubra Saat. The film is scheduled to release in theaters on 31 January 2025.
