CM Yogi spoke in Mahakumbh special program Pranam India show
In India TV’s Mahakumbh special program Pranam India, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath compared the current Mahakumbh with the Kumbh Mela organized by Samajwadi Party minister Azam Khan in 2013. CM Yogi said, “During his time, 41 people had lost their lives in the Maha Kumbh. Not only this, the Prime Minister of Mauritius was so saddened to see the filth in the Ganga water that he prayed from a distance with folded hands, instead of taking a dip. Had refused and left. In such a situation, Samajwadi Party should keep its ‘success story’ at home.
No one’s caste or community is asked in Mahakumbh.
On the question of ban on entry of Muslims in Mahakumbh, Yogi said, “Nobody coming to Mahakumbh is ever asked about his caste or community. Anyone can come. But if someone disrespects the Indian faith. If anyone tries to do so, we will adopt a ‘tit for tat’ policy.”
India is one, Sanatan is safe
On the allegation that Yogi is supporting Manu Smriti, the Chief Minister replied: “From North to South and from East to West, India is one. Dress, language, food habits and life style may differ. Sanatan Dharma protected If India is safe, then Sanatan Dharma is safe.
