Edible oil Company Adani Wilmer Limited has started operating its food processing plant in Sonepat, Haryana. The company has established it with an investment of about Rs 1,300 crore. Adani Wilmer said in the information to the stock market that she has started operating at her integrated food processing plant in Gohana, Sonepat. The company said, “This food campus is one of the largest complexes in the country, which is made from a capital of Rs 1,298 crore from IPO (initial public issue).” This plant will help create 2,000 direct and indirect employment in Haryana. This facility is spread over 85 acres and has a total annual production capacity of 6.27 lakh tonnes.
4,50,000 tonnes of food products will be made
In this plant, 4,50,000 tonnes of food products including rice, wheat flour, semolina, rava and maida will be made. Besides, two lakh tons of edible oils like mustard oil, rice husk oil and cotton seed oil, besides mustard DOC and Ricebran DOC will be produced for animal feed. Last month, the business group Adani Group announced to exit Adani Wilmer. Adani Wilmer Fortune produces brand edible oil, wheat flour and other food products.
Share closed with a decline
Adani Wilmer’s stock closed down on Friday, the last trading day of the week. Adani Wilmer’s stock on the Bombay Stock Exchange closed at Rs 251.85 on Friday with a decline of 3.71 per cent or Rs 9.70. The 52 week high of this stock is Rs 408.70. At the same time, 52 weeks are Rs 251. The company’s market cap is Rs 32,732.41 crore.
