JioSoundPay Feature on JioBharat Device: Merchants using Jio Bharat phones will no longer have to keep a separate sound box informing them about received UPI payments. Reliance Jio has launched Jio Sound-Pay feature on Jio Bharat phones and that too, absolutely free for lifetime. Jio Sound-Pay feature offers instant, multilingual audio confirmation without the need for a sound box for every UPI payment.
A statement issued by Reliance Jio said that currently small and very small merchants pay around Rs 125 per month for a sound box. Now with Jio Sound Pay available for free, JioBharat users will be able to save Rs 1,500 annually. Reliance Jio launched Jio Bharat Phone a year ago. This is the world’s most affordable 4G phone, priced at only Rs 699.
