Bengaluru: Metro services in Bengaluru on January 26 will start at 6 am instead of 7 am from all four terminals, including Nadaprabhu Kempegowda station, (Majestic). Officials gave this information on Friday. He said that in view of the possible rush of passengers traveling for ‘Lalbagh Flower Show’ on Republic Day and special program at BIEC, Madwara, 20 additional trips of metro train will be made on ‘Green Line’ and ‘Purple Line’.
“Commuters can travel to and back from Lalbagh metro station using tokens, ‘smart cards’, ‘National Common Mobility Card’ and ‘QR’ tickets,” Bengaluru Metro Rail Corporation (BMRCL) said in a statement. At Lalbagh metro station, BMRCL will issue direct tickets of Rs 30 from 10 am to 8 pm for quick movement of passengers instead of tokens. BMRCL said tokens will not be issued at Lalbagh metro station during this period. .
