F&O Stocks: Shares of Castrol India and Gland Pharma will not be included in the Futures and Options (F&O) segment from January 31. The National Stock Exchange (NSE) gave this information in a statement issued on Friday, January 24. Earlier this month, NSE had informed about the inclusion of 6 stocks including Castrol India and Gland Pharma in the F&O segment from January 31. Apart from Castrol India and Gland Pharma, these stocks included NBCC, Phoenix Mills, Solar Industries and Torrent Power.
However, now NSE has announced that out of these, shares of Castrol India and Gland Pharma will no longer be included in the F&O segment from January 31.
Earlier, last month, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) had informed about the exclusion of 16 stocks from Futures and Options (F&O) contracts. No new expiry contracts can be made in these shares from 28 February 2025.
Stocks that have been excluded from F&O contracts include Abbott India, Atul Ltd, Bata India, Can Fin Homes, Coromandel International, City Union Bank, Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals, Indiamart Intermesh, Ipca Laboratories, Dr Lal PathLabs, Metropolis Healthcare, Naveen Fluorine International, PVR Inox, Sun TV Network and United Breweries.
Castrol India shares have fallen by about 10 per cent in the last one month and are currently about 37 per cent below their peak. On the other hand, Gland Pharma shares have fallen 27% from their peak and 9% in the last one month.
