India vs England T20I Series: The next season of the Indian Premier League i.e. IPL is still far away, but the teams are ready. All the teams have bought players of their choice. Meanwhile, the last T20 International series is going on in India before IPL 2025. In the very first match, alarm bells have rung for IPL team RCB. The players who were bought by Royal Challengers Bangalore at expensive prices in the IPL auction flopped badly, no one scored runs with their bat.

RCB spent crores of rupees on fill salt, account not even opened

In the first match of India vs England series, Team India has defeated the British badly. India has won by 7 wickets in an easy match. Jos Buttler was the only player from England who could score some runs, all the other players proved to be lazy. Especially those players are being discussed a lot, whom RCB has included in its team for IPL. Phil Salt, who had previously played for KKR and helped it win the title, could not even open his account. He faced three balls and was out for zero. RCB has spent a huge amount of Rs 11.5 crore for Phil Salt. But they did not go, this could be a matter of tension for RCB.

Liam Livingston and Jacob Bethel also out cheaply

England’s all-rounder Liam Livingston was earlier playing for Punjab in the IPL. But as soon as Punjab Kings released him, RCB took him into their fold. RCB has spent Rs 8.75 crore for Liam Livingston. He too was out without opening his account after facing two balls in the first match of the India vs England series. Apart from this, if we talk about Jacob Bethel, he is being seen as a rising star of England. RCB has signed him for Rs 2.60 crore. He faced 14 balls, but could score only seven runs and was out.

RCB is also looking for its captain for IPL

RCB is an IPL team which has been playing in it since the first season, but has not been able to win the title even once. This time it has not been decided yet who will command the team. Faf Duplessis, who was captaining the team till now, has moved to Delhi Capitals this time. In such a situation, it remains to be seen what decision the team takes regarding the captain in the coming days.
