What are the total voters?
The Election Commission of India has issued a statement before the National Voters’ Day saying that the number of voters in India has now reached 99.1 crore. The Election Commission has also said that the voter list in the country looks young and gender balanced. According to the Election Commission, there are 21.7 crore youth voters in the age group of 18-29 in India. At the same time, the gender ratio of voters in the country has increased by six points from 948 in 2024 to 954 in 2025.
There will be 1 billion voters soon
Recently the Election Commission had released the schedule for Delhi Assembly Elections 2025. During this press conference, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar had informed that India will soon have more than one billion voters, which will become a new record.
