Dearness allowance will be 56%

Last year too, DA was increased in the first week of October. But it was considered to be applicable from 1 July. The government had increased the DA by 3 per cent in October. The DA increased from 50 percent to 53 percent then. Earlier in March 2024, DA had increased by 4 percent. Then the dearness allowance increased by 4 percent to 50 percent of the basic pay. Now DA is 53 percent of the basic salary. Also, inflation relief (DR) for pensioners is also 53 percent. DA is given to central employees, while DR is given to pensioners. If the government increases 3 percent DA, DA will increase to 56 percent.

Dearness allowance will increase on this date of February

This government will make this announcement before Holi. This time Holi is on 14 March. The government will also release the installment of PM farmer on February 28. There will be a cabinet meeting on 26 February Wednesday. After that the government can increase the dearness allowance of central employees.
