Ajinkya Rahane Century Against Haryana: The quarter-final matches are being played in the Ranji Trophy 2024-25. Mumbai is having a match with Haryana at the historic Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The last century in the Ranji Trophy came in the 20222/23 season with Ajinkya Rahane’s bat. He then scored 191 runs against Assam in January 2023. After so many days of this century, Rahane managed to score a century in first class cricket. This century of Rahane is quite special because it has come in his 200th first class match. Rahane scored an innings of 108 runs. Apart from Rahane, Suryakumar Yadav was also successful in getting his domestic form back. Surya scored a half -century in professional cricket after 14 innings. Surya scored 70 runs in 86 balls.
Due to Rahane’s captaincy innings and Surya’s half -century, the Mumbai team gave Haryana a target of 354 runs to win. The Haryana team could not chase this huge score and was all out on the score of 201 runs. In this way, Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy for 2024-25, winning by 152 runs. Royston Dies performed amazing in bowling for Mumbai. Royston showed half the Haryana team to the pavilion. Shardul Thakur took 3 wickets and Tanush Kotian took 2 wickets.
