On Sunday, a 6.1 magnitude earthquake occurred in Peru’s capital Lima, killing one person and injuring five others. According to the geological survey, the earthquake came to the Pacific Ocean at 11:35 am, which was in Lima. A tsunami warning has not been issued yet after this earthquake.
After the earthquake, President Dina will go to Lima to take stock of the situation. The most dangerous earthquake so far in Peru was in 1970, killing around 70,000 people.
