American leading telecom operator Verizon has recently tried a live video call via AST Space Mobile Blown Satellite. The test was approved by the American Regulator FCC i.e. Federal Communication Commission. Earlier, Elon Musk’s company Starlink also tested the Direct-to-Cell technology recently. The trial conducted by American telecom operators has been successful.
Mobile signal from satellite
According to reports, 5 commercial blued satellites of AST Spacesmobile were activated for this trial. After this testing of satellite connections has been completed. Testing included full data and video application. Verizon has claimed that its network reaches 99 percent of Americans. Through satellite-to-device network, it will also have access to areas where it is not possible to install mobile towers.
